Bishop Alan McGuckian presents Papal Mandate to the College of Consultors
In accordance with Canon Law, Bishop Alan McGuckian presented his Papal Mandate this afternoon to the College of Consultors and is therefore now Bishop of Down and Connor.
As we celebrate the solemnity of St Joseph, Spouse of Mary and Guardian of the Church, we pray, through his intercession, for Bishop Alan as he takes up his ministry as shepherd of the Church in Down and Connor.
