VATICAN TELEVISION AND RADIO CENTRE
The Vatican Television Center (CTV) was instituted by John Paul II in 1983. It is a television production center with the task of filming the activities of the Holy Father and the Holy See and preserving them in an archive. In addition to filming and live coverage of papal audiences, visits and celebrations, the Vatican Television Center produces a weekly feature programme “Octava Dies” and, in collaboration with Vatican Radio, daily video newscasts on principal Vatican events.
