Update on Living Church – Vicariate Evenings

During the month of May the Living Church team travelled across the Diocese to commence work with Parishes & Vicariates (groups of Parishes within a geographic area) in identifying their response to the Living Church report and to identify the pastoral priorities for their area. 

These events were the first opportunity that many parishes have had to come together since the report was launched and for other parishes it was an opportunity to build further on some of the work that they have been doing in the specific Living Church areas.

At the core of the meetings were a time to pray and discern why we are called to be involved in the Living Church and to listen to a guest speaker sharing their own experiences and challenges in being part of a living church.
